Terms of Service
Draft for review. These proposed Terms are not yet an effective agreement. Aureo’s company has not been incorporated. The provider’s postal address and the process for presenting and accepting the final Terms must be completed before publication as binding terms.
These Terms describe use of the Aureo app, website and personal financial planning services. They should be read with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. A privacy notice explains data processing; reading it is not consent to optional processing.
1. Who provides Aureo
Aureo is a project founded by Sasha Tarocco and Davide Barbato. A company has not yet been incorporated. These founders are identified as the people responsible for the project in this draft; no incorporated company is represented as the provider. Contact: support@aureoapp.com. Provider postal address: pending confirmation.
2. Eligibility and your account
Aureo is intended for people aged 16 or over. You must also have the legal capacity required to enter into an agreement in your country; where necessary, a parent or guardian must authorize your use. The age threshold alone does not establish contractual capacity.
Provide accurate account information, keep sign-in credentials secure, use only accounts you are authorized to access, and tell support if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for the information you enter and for checking that it reflects your circumstances.
3. Financial planning and estimates
Aureo helps you organize income, expenses, assets, liquidity, budgets, goals and monthly records. It can display forecasts, hypothetical scenarios, estimated goal dates, summaries, financial scores and coaching prompts. Features depend on the version and access available to your account.
Calculations depend on your inputs, assumed growth rates and the model used. Estimates may change as you update records or as assumptions and circumstances change. Peer comparisons reflect available Aureo user data and may use a broader comparison group when a similarly aged group is unavailable. Scores and comparisons are informational and may not represent your personal situation.
Aureo does not provide individualized investment, financial, tax or legal advice. Its planning features do not hold your money, execute payments or securities trades, or guarantee returns, savings or achievement dates. Check important decisions independently and seek qualified professional advice when appropriate.
4. Premium and company-sponsored access
Some features require Premium access. Company-sponsored access may be provided through codes or HR invitations. Redemption depends on code validity, any expiry, previous use, company eligibility and available seats. Redeeming an HR invitation can connect your account with the sponsoring employer’s roster, as described in the Privacy Policy.
A code’s redemption deadline is not a promise of a particular duration of Premium access. Any duration or other offer conditions must be stated in the offer. This draft does not establish a price, recurring subscription, renewal schedule or future charge. If paid offers are introduced, their price, duration, cancellation and applicable withdrawal conditions must be shown before purchase. Applicable consumer rights remain protected.
5. Your records, photos and feedback
You retain your rights in records, profile photos and feedback you provide. You authorize Aureo to store, process and display them only as needed to operate the service, calculate requested outputs, respond to support requests and meet applicable obligations. This does not grant a general right to use your personal records or photos for advertising.
Submit only material you are entitled to use. Avoid including other people’s confidential information or unnecessary sensitive data in feedback and diagnostic attachments. Export important records before deleting your account.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Aureo unlawfully, impersonate another person, share unauthorized access, abuse invitation codes, upload malicious material, disrupt the service or attempt to access another person’s data. Do not bypass authentication or security measures. These restrictions do not limit activities protected by applicable law.
7. Aureo software and third-party services
Aureo’s software, branding and other service materials remain protected by their owners’ intellectual property rights. You may use them to access the service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Authentication, hosting, notifications and diagnostics rely on providers including Supabase, Vercel, Apple and Google Firebase. Selected sign-in providers have their own terms. Availability can be affected by those providers, your device and connectivity.
App Store distribution and the app licence are governed by the applicable Apple terms and Apple Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom licence is supplied. This draft is not presented as a custom App Store EULA and does not remove rights under that licence.
8. Availability and changes
Maintenance, security incidents, updates and third-party outages may temporarily affect availability. Features may change for security, legal compliance, technical compatibility or product improvements. For material changes affecting your access, we will provide clear information and reasonable notice where feasible, without limiting legally required advance notice, information on a durable medium, or your termination and remedy rights. We do not promise uninterrupted service or guaranteed financial outcomes.
9. Suspension and ending use
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful activity or a material breach of these Terms. Measures should be proportionate; we will explain the reason and how to contact us where lawful and practical. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users or the service.
You can stop using Aureo and request account deletion through the app or support. Deletion removes account access and initiates data erasure as explained in the Privacy Policy. Export the records you need first. Data that must be retained for a lawful reason is handled under that policy.
10. Responsibility and consumer rights
You remain responsible for your financial decisions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable responsibility for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence or personal injury. Mandatory rights concerning digital services, conformity, remedies, withdrawal and refunds remain available where applicable. No exclusive court or governing-law clause is introduced in this draft.
11. Updates and questions
The final Terms will identify their effective date and how they are presented for acceptance. Material revisions will be explained before taking effect, with further agreement where required. Continued browsing is not treated as consent to tracking. Questions or complaints may be sent to support@aureoapp.com.
